The Night Is Sprightly Poem by Susmit Panda

The Night Is Sprightly

The night is sprightly, for my veins are,
Cloud is upon every star;
Deity-rich you look, made solely of flesh,
A bud, so wild and fresh!
Richly clothed, like incomplete-clouded welkin,
Fire is slumbering on my skin;
Lips provide that soul-burning bliss,
Yet it is my foremost kiss!

My heart is storming against my breast
Out of day's still, dead rest;
Hitting my ribs, like a beast in perilous rage
Thrashing the rods of its cage,
Creating red scars of rust down my breast,
Out of day's drowsing rest;

The night is sprightly, for my veins are,
Cloud is upon every star;
Ah, Lust! Full of fiery, luxurious breath,
You are truer than Life and Death!
My sighs are compounding to become voice
Composed of chaotic rejoice;
And the sleeping fire's oozing out in beads,
While my soul further bleeds
