THE NEW YEAR- 2008

The New Year comes in like the tidal wave
at sea,
With it's force of twelve months to give
us company;
It sweeps over the beaches and wets our feet,
It is now for us to grab it complete!
To venture out as the brave surfers do,
To ride on the crest of its waves and reach
the acme!
And with the closing of the year, when the
tides recede,
We pause to take stock of things achived!
Never to give up, but to plan anew, ahead;
To ride the crest of waves all over again!
To reach new heights, as never before!
And to review all things, on reaching
the shore.

Thus life moves on with its ebb and flow,
While some lose their loved ones and those
they had known!
While the birth of our young generation and
baby's grin,
Fills up the void felt within!
Let's enjoy the surf, the sand and the sun;
And merge with life's cyclic flow to become
one.
