The Naive Little Girl Poem by Lisa Teres Fraser

The Naive Little Girl

I should have known
It wasn't meant to be

I, the naive little girl
Thought you were real
I saw you in everyone
You became an infactuation
You became my dream
I wanted you too badly
And you slipped away
Into the next person
Maybe I'll have another chance
To capture my dream
It is my downfall
Hope

What I wanted and what I had were different
I'm sorry you are caught in the middle of my world
I thought you were my dream
I don't blame you but me
The naive little girl.
