The Mothers

The mothers will never leave you,
Come what maybe the circumstances;
The Mother that has given birth,
The Mother Land that has nurtured,
The Mother Earth that has protected,
And what do they expect?
Precisely nothing,
Except love, care, share and understanding.

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,

Unequal laws unto a savage race,
