The Moonlight Sonata Poem by Yasmin Khan

The Moonlight Sonata

Moonlight drips
drop by drop
from piano’s keys
soul dearly sips
silverene cup of
pristine silence
replete with
sonorous sighs
thoughts on wings
to distant lands
where Beethoven lived
