The Monk Speaks Poem by Green Peace

The Monk Speaks

Rating: 5.0

I thought he won't be envious
Acquainted with him
Saw that he had full bloomed envy
Left him

Befriended others
Realised their greed, lust, hostility
Slowly silently withdrew
Yet another group

They too suffered of repining restlessness, shortcomings, egoism
None in the universe is spotless snow
Every he, she possesses it

None can renounce
Or throughly washed lily be
No human is truly human
But humans in its mask

No repentance expiation
Of anyone's any time's evil deeds any sort
He's every man and every woman
Nothing extraordinary, rum at all

there isn't anything as true human, Gargi... various masks every where...egoistic to stupid...cruel and kind...loving and hating...all to the wearer's convenience... and there isn't much difference from a monk to monkey...add a key tail...that's all truthful words brought out neat and beautiful...10

Words revealing..realization afterwards.. With vivid philosophy within.. A must read poem... A masterpiece!
