The Mirrors Within The Eyes Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

The Mirrors Within The Eyes

An image,
exists within the mind;
so, from an image
in mind,
out to an image
in time;
through what
you think you saw,
to what
you thought
you might have seen;
how do we expose it
without losing
its true defining
and finite lines?

Minds,
process this function
how many times
before opening
your eyes in their mirrors;
and as your mind
opens your eyes,
the image begins to change
from finite in lines,
to infinite lines
in time.

What
was, in the mirror
of your mind within,
becomes reflection
of the definite thought
which caused it
to become your reality;
all these infinite changes
occur, before
you open your mouth
to express that
mirroring finite thought
in your mind;
one you wish
to give out to those,
who mirror
your inner most
intimate thoughts
within their minds
mirroring eyes.

A thought-provoking poem...the human mind complexity. Great!
