The Mirror Says Poem by Rajendra padhi

The Mirror Says

We love each other
We lie too,
So close
So far.
We enact a strange play
Like the light and the shade,
We care each other
Suffused with love,
Ignore too
In perceptual tricks,
We win each other
When serene and pure,
We defeat too
When deceitful in words,
We are blessed
When we are honest,
We also feel cursed
When evil is firm,
All reflections I intrude
Impudently fragmented,
The mirror hangs
In our blood of truth and lies,
We dare not to see us
Though discovered
In the lamp of eyes,
Deprived of wisdom
We can’t face us
Unsure for a reflection
Indiscernible,
Our faces shallow
Lopped from golden lid,
A hide and seek continues
In solitude and in crowd
It blurs the eyes of God.
