The Memory Of Your Smile Poem by Amgad Samy

The Memory Of Your Smile

I found your eyes in the moonlight
that made me a great explorer
who wandered eagerly all night
seeking your features as an admirer
What if the moon decided to hide?
In a whirl of loneliness I was kept swinging
How I would light the darkened side?
A question stole my passionate longing
but the memory of your smile appeared
to guide me to your heart to settle
reminding me of the triumph I achieved
like a victorious knight in an immortal battle
