The Memory Of Memories Poem by nader baheri

The Memory Of Memories

I have lived my life already
And the most beautiful days of my life came but they were gone
The memories still in my mind
The memories of living in a house
Over the hills
Over the clouds
Lower than sun
Higher than moon
The memories of the childhood
The memories of ferry tails and ferry lands
The days of joy, honesty, and fun
At nights, listening to the mother singing me lullaby
Looking at father puffing his cigar
And then a reverie came and took me to the angels ‘ land

Now father is gone
The house is on the ground
And mom is too old
And me still live in my memories
Oh God, may I live in those great times
You gifted me one more time

A childhood is like a fairytale. Amazing memories my friend. Keep them near your heart. And happy new year!

Memories will always withstand the test of time. Without them our life would be lost with no directions. Like it.
