The Melody Of Universe.. Poem by Samin Jan Kakar

When i slow down the stream of my thoughts..
when i close my eyes and when i listen..
in the moment of silence i hear the universe working..

the sound of the slowly spinning planets,
Gradually rotating,
like the sound of a rusty door that is slowly opened..

the jarring drag of the hurling comets,
moving in the orbit,
like iron crates scraping on the rough ground..

the piercing noise of the rays of light,
moving through the vacuum in space,
like penetrating Arrows released from the Archers bows..

the crackling tone of the shining stars,
glowing forever,
like the wood pop of dry sticks burning in a fireplace..
