The Measure We Use
Words must be used with care
For they have a funny way of coming back to us
Demanding application there.
Like looking into a pond
After the pebble has been dropped and ripples gone,
Our water reflection there is found.
As we measure so it will surely be
The same measure used universally
In Time will weigh us eventually.
