Poet's Notes about The Poem

The meaning and purpose of meaning and purpose!
Sounds like a puzzle but thinkers and many people have been obsessed
For ages, with the meaning and purpose, of Existence or their own life, like one ‘possessed’!
But what is the meaning and purpose of meaning and purpose?
Is it like the search of a black cat in a dark room when the cat is not there or has fled!

Life may be transient, empty and meaningless
Like empty canvas, we have yet freedom and responsibility nonetheless
To create meaning and purpose for oneself and others
This is the basic urge for deep, enduring happiness.

Many in science and Existentialism deny any purpose and meaning
Others like Frankal and Maslow lean heavily on meaning
Which you create for life with responsibility and purpose
So there is purpose or meaning in search for meaning and purpose!
