The Matchless Unparalelled Artist Of The Universe. Poem by s.zaynab kamoonpury

The Matchless Unparalelled Artist Of The Universe.

Rating: 4.7

Glorify the Great
Architect
Awesome artist of nature
Author of the universe,

Glorify God
for beauty infinite,
For the markings
bedecked
For the striped and the
spotted,
The mottled and the
dotted
For the gold bedecked
For the glint 'n' glitter
bespangled
For the fawns speckled
And other animals
dappled.
The cobras bespectacled!
Variety in flora and
fauna.
His creation's so
beauteous
whether it hath markings
or be it plain,
it's all simply wondrous.

But for God's sake, let
that fur
be left solely on its
owner
for poachers don't own it
nor do they the python's
skin.
So hunters and poachers
beware
Unless nobody does care
any longer
if beauty be extinct!

Opt for other options
for your pillowcasing
eiderdowns
Don't strip the feathered
fauna
of their fine downy
gowns!

Be ye cautious about
culling or killing
Let no blood be
rapaciously spilling
So forever humanbeings
may admire
God's stippled effects on
animals
And His ripple effect on
river canals!

Fantastic poem Zaynub. Very true said, we should admire the bountiful nature we are blessed with. We should appreciate the wonderful creation, rather that stripping its beauty and thereby reducing its value into nil. Your poem is really filled with many captivating lines, in fact, I loved reading it twice. Beautiful presentation. Really..... Glorify the Great Architect Awesome artist of nature Author of the universe. I loved it. Thanks for sharing with us.

Snap, crackly, pop. It is fun to overhear this sassy gal bring out the zing from any subject. She comes up with a comeback to any phrase, can find the A-TISHOO in tissue, the OPT in option. However, being 65 I do not endorse her take on hitting the watershed year of 30. /(See her THOUGHTS ON TURNING 30) / Since she likes all the stippling displayed by Mother Nature, I hope she will see it in human nature, because the mind is a loom and its fabric of reverie needs time for its exquisite mottling. I have to admit that her fountain of words shows dapplings of light and shade that only appear in a youthful moment. I wanted to make a comeback. I guess I will have to read the rest of her poems to get lessons in zing.

This is a very beautiful poem! Rich in imagery and parallelism. I will have to agree to disagree with you a bit regarding the content, though, because it has some minor conflicts with my conservative Christian views. But anyway, the poem itself is beautiful. Thanks for reading mine. God bless you ^_^

In response to this very fine poem, and for a quite different point of view, you may wish to read mine entitled: The Question of the Metaphysical Squirrel
