Every person has a mask on
You can’t see it, can’t feel it
But everyone who has taken theirs off
can FEEL it on other people
You don’t have to say so, but we know it is there
So don’t bother pretending it’s not
They wear the mask for different reasons
Some parts thicker than others
You can wear it to hide an interest
Or a hobby, or something that is on your mind
See, they’re so embarrassed by what they like
That they are willing to create a whole different life for them for them to live
They are scared that if anyone finds out the truth
They will become outcasts, rejects
They worry so much about the mask slipping off
That they let the mask control what they do and say
But what they don’t know is
Some people can see right through their mask
Some of us can see the struggles, the worries
Of keeping the mask on
But the people who can see through the masks,
Have already taken theirs off
Have thrown away, burned, and shredded their mask
Have already become so sick of the life they thought was helping them
They decided to show the world
Who they really are
They decided to be original in a world full of fakes and copies
They are truly the strongest of us all
People who can see through mask are strongest. Wonderful sharing really.10.
