The Manifestation Of Me (A Creed) Poem by Peitho Enthermos

The Manifestation Of Me (A Creed)

Rating: 5.0

Will ye let me on my way of boldness?
Let me know what is it when the evening falls.
Unarmed, unbraced I go, and with prowess;
Let me through the way, sleep by day, or face more than the lion's growl.
Aye! Even in Erebus's darkest, I will not be a nonentity.

Liken me as a sword designed with a purpose:
Wields good, opens a way, or tastes danger.
Lest I am a rust in the scabbard with no cause,
I rather would have be-gone myself since before!
Permit me what I can be, and what I believe myself to be.
