The Mango Trees Poem by Jesus Diaz Llorico

The Mango Trees

'The moon and stars glistened in the breeze
as it shined upon the mango trees
the fallen leaves scattered on the grass
beside each shadows I gently pass
as moderate winds blew silently
in this place filled with harmony

I stood aside and choose to stay
and think of her love so far away
the moon seems to say if she was here
she will feel the trees and midnight air
this fleeting moments of privacy
we can recall our sweet memories.'
