The Main Entrance Doors Too Stroll With Love! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

The Main Entrance Doors Too Stroll With Love!

The Chera king wears the garland
made up of ‘bees buzzing flowers';
he has the chariot pulled by strong horses;
goes for stroll every evening!

While the youthful king goes every evening for
stroll proudly; mothers in the King's way close their doors;
girls open their house entrance doors routinely; Swing door
hinges of their doors worn out due to friction frequently!

The young girls, who live in his town,
out of love towards the king, like to have a glimpse
of him and open their main doors of their houses
while the king troupe passes that way!

But mothers are afraid that the king might
take their daughters for marriage and retain
them in his palace. But the main entrance doors
too stroll with love to see him any way!
