The Magical Key And The Smiling Phantom Poem by Justin Gildow

The Magical Key And The Smiling Phantom

Opening a door
I see a magical key
I take it

A smiling phantom is awakened
Shaking violently
Even though he smiles
I can tell he didn't like me doing that
And now, he's going to give chase and follow
me wherever I run, jump, and go

Running, jumping, ducking, and dodging
on my way down the tower
The smiling phantom is on my trail
The smiling phantom is on my tail
Not slowing down for giving up
Not even for a second

Finding the magical door
I use the magical key to escape freely
And to frustrate the smiling phantom
And turn the tables on him
