I recall the days of glances and flirtation. I read this poem from the perspective of shyness, and it hits close to home. I enjoyed it, thank you. (Report) Reply

    It started so well,
    it ended so sad,
    But one thing she did,
Was she left me mad! ----very realistic lines..............by parithi (Report) Reply

Seduction they say is an art, glances are the veins, did u fall for seduction! ? Or did u let it rake you out of your own walls? I like this poem (Report) Reply

Hey, that was such a sweet poem, I myself have been in a similar situation, and the game playing of the glances happen just like that, love the poem.

Pretty good. Personally though, I didn't like the ending. Other than that though, good work. (Report) Reply

    Hey Man,
I like this poem. HOwever, just my humble opinions, the first few stanzas seem a bit repetitious in terms of the location of the ideas expressed for those stanzas..If there was some variation in ways of expressing that idea, it would have been better.... after all, i like this poem! it's so true and easily related to my life, maybe everybody's lives.

For forty years from dawn to dark —
Alone beside Caermarthen Bay.
