The Love Which Endures The Pains Is Too Strong Heartily!
Which love in this world
had been successful instantaneously?
The love which endures the pains
is too firm and strong heartily!
Is there any stories saying the love had failed?
If failed, failed ones are not real love!
All are only due to opportunities
which reveal wrong interpretations!
By heart and mind, betrothal
was fixed with him;
without him, accepting garland
from somebody else is extreme suffering!
At one side is my lover; another side is her father!
She is like an ant caught in between fire on both sides!
Losing the love due to the affection with the father,
she is like sugar cane entangled in the factory!
Who is the cause? Who is the sole cause?
Whose apathy shall affect whom?
To whom should I say? She shed tears!
Oh dear young deer! Is it n't the fault of the relatives?

உலகில் எந்த காதல், உடனே ஜெயித்தது?
வலிகள் தாங்கும் காதல் மிகவும் வலியது!
காதல் தோற்றதாய் கதைகள் ஏது?
தோற்றால் தோற்றது காதலாகாது!
எல்லாமே சந்தர்ப்பம்,
கற்பிக்கும் தப்பர்த்தம்.
நினைவுகளாலே நிச்சயதார்த்தம்
நடந்தது அவனோடு.
அவனை அல்லாது அடுத்தவன்
மாலை ஏற்பது பெரும் பாடு.
ஒரு புறம் தலைவன் மறு புறம் தகப்பன்
இரு தலை கொள்ளி எறும்பானாள்.
பாசத்துக்காக காதலை தொலைத்து
ஆலையில் கரும்பானாள்.
யார் காரணம், யார்தான் காரணம்?
யார் பாவம் யாரை சேரும்?
யார் தான் சொல்ல….
கண்ணீர் வார்த்தாள்
கன்னி மானே
சுற்றம் செய்த குற்றம் தானே!
