everyday i miss out on you growning up
everyday i miss the new things you learn
everyday i miss you

everyday i wish i could see
see you playing
see you having fun
see you being a kid
or just seeing you

the day i left
i felt depressed
i knew i was losing you
i knew it was that day
the day i get taken back
back to the little jail cell|

you're the one i push
push to be better
push to be a good kid
push to make you a somebody
push to see you do something
push to make you the first
first to go to college
or just graduate high school
