The Loss Of Precious Lives Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Loss Of Precious Lives

All lives are precious,
Before and after Christmas,
Before and after the Midnight Mass.
All lives are ingenuous.
Help and protect your neighbors,
As you'd feed and shelter your brothers
Or your sisters who're experiencing: chaos,
Unemployment, racism, sickness,
Violence, injustice, and loneliness.

All lives are precious,
Regardless of the circumstances.
All murders are capricious,
Unreasonable and malicious;
Even beyond the preponderance of the evidences.
At times, the fateful end can be averted,
Controlled, and sensibly avoided.
The loss of precious lives
Is despicable and painful.
The loss of all lives
Is unbearable and hurtful.
All lives are precious,
All forms of unnatural death
Are criminal and odious
In the eyes of God. The theft
Of anybody's life must not be tolerated.
All untimely deaths can be avoided.
All senseless deaths must be investigated,
Analyzed and prosecuted
To the full extent of God's laws.

Let's take a deep breath or a pause.

All lives are precious.
All murders are malicious.
The loss of precious lives
Is intolerable and painful.
The loss of all lives
Is inconceivable and hurtful.
All lives are precious,
Before and after Christmas,
Before and after the midnight Mass.
All lives are ingenuous.
