~ The Laconic Limerick ~

I met a man sailing the Bering Sea,
Who displayed a sore proclivity
for exposing his propensity
For long-winded prolixity
Anytime he told a fish story.
And because of this banality
Of failing to find finality
To his wailing fish-catch parodies
His friends soon showed expectancy
To his penchant for verbosity,
And thus, he chances as an entity
In the Guiness Book for brevity
Be zero to none, not a chance, mon ami
For this man I met sailing the Bering Sea.
