The Long Walk Poem by Afrasiab khan

The Long Walk

Rating: 5.0

Remember when we went on a long walk
Just you and me going through the red roses
The chilly wind had been blowing since we took our first step
They whispered “Today you get drunk by me”

Remember when went on a long walk
Just you and me going on a bridge over the sea of love
The waves were killing themselves
They whispered “today you fall into me to find your inner self”

Remember when we went on a long walk
Just you and me going on a sunset hill
The sun was shot dead and it declined
Saying “today you win from me”
