The Long Summer Day Poem by Annabel Cruz

The Long Summer Day

Rating: 4.5

If I could live my life
Like a long summer day
With the hours dripping by
Sweet as honeysuckle dew,
I would shed my winter skin
And lie naked in the grass.
My body seduced
By the sun's warm embrace.
My spirit renewed
By the long summer day!
