The Long Road
The road of life goes on and on
and far from the source where it began
Now look on further, the Road has gone
You must follow by foot and if you can
step by step increasing speed
Until it joins some wider way
Where multitude of paths will meet
with errands full you choose to greet
And what comes next?
Well, who can say......
I know time may pounce upon The youth and energy might have gone I shall still raise the banner The life may end as beginner
