The Long Journey Poem by VICTORIA HEIM

The Long Journey

Pyramid rising to the Sky
step by step your mystique leaves one with wonder
as the shadows of the daylight shade the figures
etched upon your walls
In another land the new day brings more Seashells
as they are washed upon the sand
Each one different speaking softly, ' I am beauty toBehold'
Cold and churning the waters take them across Forever
and the settle in the West
The mighty and the strong
The humble and the sweet
we all repeat
The Long Journey
