The Lonely One

I just get so tired
of being alone
Iam sure that
One can hear my loneliness
My aching heart right
through the phone
It's just
been so long
Since you've been gone
Well, now Iam more than ready
For you,
my love to return home
So, until then
This lonely soul
Will just
have to rhome

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
