The Lonely Candle Poem by Brandon Delgado

As I sit by the lonely candle light
Alone once more on this rainy night
As the candle burns the dying flame
My hearts pain burns just the same
All these nights with the lonely candle
The burning pain is to much to handle 
The candle's burning wax slowly drips
As do my tears missing your sweet lips
The rainy wind blows open the door
Taking the photos of my love before
The lonely candle's flame quickly dies
As the candles smoke says goodbye
Even the candle has now left me
Alone with the pain of my memories
