The Living Truth Poem by Madhukar Mohan

The Living Truth

Rating: 4.0

How I wish I could lie
in your lap until I die.
I could walk in your shade
those memories don’t fade.

Those little things you taught,
over the petty things we faught.
You would wipe off my tears,
gently ward off my fears.

I weep when you stumble and fall;
in your sorrows big or small
I wish you always walk tall,
the most beautiful of them all

That sweet lullaby I hear
So far yet so near
Its time for me to sleep
in your living truth so deep.
