The Lion And The Lamb Poem by Katniss Everdeen

King of the jungle
Dangerous and proud
Is the majestic Lion
Who is beautiful, bold and loud

Small and fluffy
And cute as can be
Is the little Lamb
Munching on grass, filled with glee

Both from different worlds,
Are the Lion and the Lamb
And yet, they stay together,
But they are both damned

They cannot be together
Have you ever heard the expression
'So the Lion fell in love with the Lamb'
That quote causes depression

Even though they're in love
Together, they can't be
Because the whole time their together
There is no guarentee

That the Lamb will be safe
From the Lion, his hunger so vast
Even though they are in love
The Lamb might not last

It could be one small accident
One tiny little mistake
And that would be the end of the Lamb
Causing the Lion to break

Because even though he loves her,
It is in his blood
It is in his nature
To kill the one he loves
