The Light Of My Life Poem by Varsha M

The Light Of My Life

Rating: 5.0

The odeipus complex
Freud once mentioned
Is the experience
Your little one nurture.

Though wiered it look
Must it is, for her to hook
Life is an on board experience
Where will she know other than you.

Holding your hand, she learned
To smile at one who cared
Sitting on your lap
She learned to hop.

Tiny little angel of your life
Fluttering like a new butterfly
Gezellig in your very arms
Until she learns to mature like her mom.

Raring a girl is whole different escapade
Walking with her all the time she wiggle
Checking me like a grandmother
And caring me with her little arm.

Slowly this little smile of her
Became my passcode of life bright
Transforming journey to destination.

The poem tries to bring into focus the exclusive bond and feelings between a thoughtful little girl and her caring father. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed reading it.
