The Light Poem by Brian Kilpatrick

The Light

As I sit at the helm
Biding my time
Waiting for a wind
To take me away

As pleased as I can be
Blind to my destiny
Void of history lost at sea
And I think I hear

Let the stars guide you
Let the wind steer you
Let the sun and the moon
Light your way

Has your destiny betrayed you
Has your life slipped away
Just reach out to me because
I Am The Light the Truth and the Way
