The Life Poem by Leonard Champlin

The Life

Suppose you had a life
that had no answers
yet
you needed them
before you left to die.

You searched for years and years
and talked to faces
But
no answers cam
and you were left to die.

If you would have my life
then where would go
to
find your footprint
within your family tree.

Would you walk this planet
so deep and wide
or
search oceans blue
to make yourself be free.

Not sure where I come from
makes me want to know
and
all these secrets
that keeps me haunted still.

Why do all these faces
turn their backs on me
when
all I need now
are words to cure my will.

...unfinished.
