The Last Visitor Poem by Abdullahi Umar shanono

The Last Visitor

Invisible and inevitable,
Unaware he comes,
Aware he leaves,
Unaccompanied he comes,
Accompanied he leaves.
No deal can stop him,
No lie can delay him,
No option can distract him.
He came and took,
Took my dearest father,
Took the man we cherished,
Tore my family apart,
Took my dreams, and
Took my wills to hold.
He liberate tears,
Tears of sorrow,
Sorrow demolishing my soul.
You,
That mumbles here and there,
Prepare,
Prepare yourself,
Death is inevitable,
You might be next..!
