The Last Push {girl Version} Poem by Chris Ivy

The Last Push {girl Version}

I sit wanes again on my bed
With the blade on the led,
Thinking, just do it, end this pain,
I put the blade to my wrist,
Then realize the boy I care for,
He’s the only thing that stops me from closing this door,
But all I really need is one last push,
The next day we walk by that bush,
The bush that we first met by,
He never said a lie,
But one dark night he taken from me,
We were walking with he’s friend lee,
Then a car came around the corner; I jumped to the side,
I turned around to see the boy lying motionless on the ground near the slide,
I ran without a second wasting while slipping on mud,
He was covered in his own blood,
I grabbed his hand,
He needed a band,
I told him, he was going to be all right,
But I knew he was not alright,
His grip started to loosen,
But mine only tightened,
His face looked a lot lightened,
My tears falling like waterfalls,
As his eyes start to fall,
I yelled no,
But I know so,
That he is gone,
And soon ill be dawn,
That very same night,
I grabbed my knife,
Here I am again on this bed,
And I know that the boy is dead,
I slit my wrists,
I finished my list,
My blood pours out,
As my parents will never doubt,
Now I can be with that boy,
Now we are dead,
That was the last push.
