THE LAST POEM BEFORE SHABBAT ENTERS

The last poem before Shabbat enters
Already partakes of Shabbat
It has the hush of quiet sanctity
'Neshama Yeterah' on the way
It knows that it need not pain or praise,
The work has already been done,
It's time to rest.
