The Last Petal (Sitigotyo) Poem by Ajay Seshadri

The Last Petal (Sitigotyo)

Rating: 5.0

Wear-off my thoughts like petals of secret flower
Come join in to give wisdom in mystic hour
Grand dome where in I don't see my lust for your words
They fly away from my grasp fleeting silver birds.

Light this crust of my hillock so that I can see
Where this petal has withered deep down within me
I need to make with just one some sense of an eye
That last ball of my reason has left me sun dry.

Are you behind open balms my mystic lover?
My only hope for my thoughts to know 'the other'
A carpet in sight a prince in the sky
But where is my last petal to flower a high?

At last melts my hot hillock out soaring lava
It's about time you wake me up from this drama
That last petal I needed to make my flower
Fail me not my dreamy love this final hour.
