The Last Goodbye Poem by Mark Normand

The Last Goodbye

Rating: 4.8

Look at me, please don't cry my darling;
it's nothing I will be just fine.
Smile, show me your beauty, let me
look at my love one last time
Stay, don't leave me in darkness;
I'm so afraid of being alone.
Talk to me, I need to hear voices; the
sweet sound reminds me of home.
Touch me, once more will you hold me; I
am starting to feel so cold..
Pray for me, I am feeling so guilty, for
damage I've done to my soul.
Love me, I hope that you love me, I
love you more than I can say.
Leave me, my spirit has gone now, and I'm
sorry babe that I couldn't stay.

Wow, I love it, even though it almost put me in tears because I felt the emotion in it and it was strong. Very Nice Sayings

This is very good but, Why the run-on: let me, the, I, for, I, and I'm? It mars an otherwise very good sensitive poem. Adeline
