The lady across the lake calls me,
she offers me tranquility and peace,
she want's me to swim over she says,
she can take all the pain away.

If only, if only, I'd come,
If only, if only, I'd jump.

The woman across the water calms me,
she comforts me with promises she'll keep,
If only I would take one step,
she'll give me all the love I need.

If only, if only, I'd come,
if only, if only, I'd jump.

The lady across the lake haunts me,
her eyes are diamonds, silver and gold,
and even though she knows I can't swim,
she's telling me to jump right in.

If only, if only, I'd come,
