The Kiss Poem by Retro 308

The Kiss

Rating: 5.0

Through the tree lined lobby and into crisp cold air
We set off round the corner to seek a simple lair

The Westminster arms gave beckon and we descended to her snug
contorted in a wooden nook we clasped our hands together

I looked at you and you at me and we thought about a kiss
But once again we leant in close but never sealed the deal

Wrapped up tight against the cold we set off to the bridge
And half way done in city lights we turned and met together

A touch of lips a sweet embrace a further movement on
To who knows where we do not know but still we travel on

Sixteen again and hand in hand we set off homeward bound
To say goodbye to break the spell to live our normal lives again
