The Kindered Dawn Poem by Ankur Beohar

The Kindered Dawn

Beyond this dawn are the others
Of which the others have got no clue
Pulsating in a rhythms of nascent rays
When the winds of sadness bid adieu

Bold and bright Benign and upright
The freedom of that dawn await no dusk
It's not caught in the mundane chores of the earth
for it originates from the unfathomable cosmic thrust

I have been a witness to that dawn
That gains it's definition by your eyes
Those lush green meadows of the earth
Nurtured by the tears of the cloud's cries

Those shadows of your lashes
Giving it from the heat, unparalleled respite
The depth of those tumultuous oceans
Lit by unimaginable delight

I have seen that dawn,
When you wake up next to me,
Bewildered by the audacity of that moment
Yet surprised by the calmed calamity

And it's a truth takes you away I know
Sweeps you off the brittle floor
Take you far from yourself
On the brink of the horizon's door
