The Kill Poem by Kathryn Garner

The Kill

Rating: 5.0

If I could kill you with a kiss
If I could kill you with the words
Dripping from my lips
I surly would take your soul tonight
Set your debt right
Where darkness strangles the light
Strays stalk the night

Kill a vision in my mind
Lets the visuals, throbbing in me
Unravel, unwind
You cant keep me from you
But baby, you know what I’ll do
Use you, as you’ve used me
Taking back what I used to be
Breaking back, bringing back
A resurrection to what I used to see

I’m a sinner with a vow,
And baby, your asking me how
I could be so very cold, so deadly
But your so damn ready
Waiting, begging me for the kill
Your denial the prayers to feel
What you made me feel

I’m going in for the kill tonight
Setting this down, out of sight
Set deep in black, no pure white
But baby, I just might
Spare you a little shame
I’ll be a sinner with remorse
Or else I wont be the same
But you’ll suffer of course

Beat you down, beat you dead
Strangle the joys in your head
Take your light
Turn your sights of the future
Dead as night

Your love is so dead to me
And now I just want you to be
The sorry lamb I can see
Beaten, bloody and dead in me
I’ll kill you with a kiss
With words
I’ll make your hopes hurt
Hurt like hell,
Yes, I know,
I’m so very cold, so deadly
But your so damn ready
To suffer for your sins
Till you amend
All your life
Till you take yourself away,
From the light
Remove the fight
Stray to night
Your all mine tonight

If I could kill you with a kiss
If I could kill you with the words
Dripping from my lips
I surly would take your soul tonight
Set your debt right
Where darkness strangles the light
Strays stalk the night

This is eerie, but you look just like my sister-in-law Yolena! You could be her identical twin! Theodora Onken
