The Keeper Poem by Umbre MoonOkami

The Keeper

A keeper that's what I am,
Who's heart has been shattered again,
The moon was my home,
But now it seems so far,

To the beginning to the end,
This fighting never ends,
The fire is burning,
Totally consuming,

Eating me alive,
The dagger I see it shine,
In the fading moonlight,
That once was and that will never be again,

The heart me,
Is fading slowly forever and eternity,
The blood that once filled me,
But now just consumes me,

I am the Keeper,
A soul I must protect,
Even when my heart is in distress,
The crimson moon drowns out the Keeper!
