The Joy Of My Heart - Poem by Jesus James Llorico

'Her beauty is something I don't want to see
Since she left and settle for someone not me
And though she is the joy and love of my heart
It was painful since she decided we part

Her silence and action has put on a strain
An affair that time has tested yet again
Even if I tried to remain as her friend
Yet she still stayed bitter to the very end

Her lovely memories has put some solace
In our relationship she was full of praise
If I'd be given another chance to make
The oath of love never again will I break.'
