The Journey Of My Musings Poem by Yasmin Khan

The Journey Of My Musings

Meandering, twisting through the murky night
At dawn my musings smile in the rosy sky
With morning birds take flight
As gentle zephyr fan their wings

They flow in the liquid noon
Mingles in the noise of a busy day
Trying to go placidly seeking boon
Amid bedlam, a vexation to the soul

As even falls twilight puts a soft, angelique
Hand on the drained, jaded mind
Thoughts take the form of an arabesque
A symphony, a motif, a rhythmic move

Waterfalls along the headwaters of the neath
Trail, a stream composed in ink on paper
drift the colours that my inspirations bequeath
So generously to my humble lucid verse

A wandering mind needs to focus on the here and now. LOvely poem.
