The Interlude Poem by Kishore Asthana

The Interlude

Lines on the palm, bent, to let in fate
Often Devil's fence
sometimes heaven's gate
Happenstance misting the course of life
Will changing destiny lying in wait
Roiling waters lived in a storm
Of happiness and sorrow, love and hate

That is life, mine and yours
A short stay and back indoors
