The Infamous Race Card Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Infamous Race Card

Rating: 5.0

Look at me
Shoot me
Drill me
Stare at me
As if you were honest
As if you were not a pest
A bad and godawful person
Look at me like your son
Not like an adoptive one
Heck, yes!
Ms. Pest
You started the race card
When you attempted to discard
My credentials
By writing on my resume your initials
As if my name were Tattoo
And yours the grand wizard of Kokaku
As if I were a disgrace
To the beautiful human race
You started the whole mess
When you stared at my face
When you wrote ugly racist epithets
About me which was a reflection
Of your soul, of your non-verbal expression
When you used the “n” word
In a derogatory way, you took a sword
And dug it down my invincible throat
You dislike poor white, brown, and yellow
And of course black people. You act like a goat
Oh! God, you deserve a nice black arrow
On your flat derrière. Yes, you played the race card
When you displayed your ignorance. This is sad
In this day and age, you lied like a low class donkey
Who lost respect, pride and credibility
By flipping and playing with your tongue
You looked like a mass of dung
That the janitors failed to pick up
Like a duck, you are shroud and salope
If I push you down the slippery slope
I am sure you’ll react like a slob on dope
I never started the race card; you did
You now lost everything. Yes, indeed.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Believe me, they play the race card by being the first one to cry and to react, because they are scared, they are afraid of the truth.

It is never easy to understand my poems. I usually play with everything on the table. Thanks for your comments. Keep on reading and keep trying.I love everything that God created, even the racists and the ignorant ones.
