The Inebriate Pragmatist Poem by Professor Dr. Stanley Collymore

The Inebriate Pragmatist

Some people drink to drown their sorrows, others to
boost their shattered self-confidence; you however
do so because the alcohol is freely available,
there’s plenty of it and, significantly, you
like drinking for its own sake. Therefore,
one doesn’t get from you any cant
or concocted excuses for your
alcoholic pastime. If only
more boozers were as
honest as you are!
